Living My Dream

Worked  20 Laid Off At 40

Old people getting fired is not a new phenomenon…

US economy was really hot during the 90′s hence they found jobs easy, those where the golden period expecting every decade to be the same is not possible

More so if US in general has a aging population.Any countries expenditure increases many folds if its population is aging,Becasue they would be using resources without adding much into the system,

Instead of services and consumer goods driving the market it would be insurance and health that drives US economy in the coming decades,

Business dont give a shit about their country or people thats the realty all that they care is whether they make money they will go where there is cheap and abundant labour.

So the choice is ours whether we want to be secure in our 20′s when we have all the creativity and wealth of knowledge with us,by joining a regular 9-5 job

Else, Be bold and use the creativity and knowledge to carve a niche business out of the things you love, its not secure or as fashionable as a 9-5 Job is in your 20′s but you will feel vindicated when your 45 old friend calls up to say he is being laid off at 45.

What is security ? What is a safe career? You tell me now, :)

This post was created in frustration after the homogeneous society that I live in (India) keeps asking me why I quit my job to pursue my own business interests.

Moreniche unveils split commission technology

Affiliate marketing company MoreNiche has unveiled new technology which will change the way in which commission is paid out.

Up until now, it had generally been the case that the affiliate which directed a customer to a product website where an actual purchase is made would be the sole recipient of commission.

However, research has proved that a separate affiliate may first have piqued the customer's interest in a product, even if he conducts more research before returning to buy via a different website.

According to research figures, some 39 per cent of sales have more than one affiliate in the chain which leads to an actual purchase.

For this reason, Moreniche has implemented a split commission system which will ensure the affiliate responsible for bringing a product to a buyer's attention will be rewarded.

Initially being rolled out with the Proactol merchant – the scheme will see the affiliate who directs a customer to actual sale still receiving the most commission, but the one who first introduced the buyer to the product will be offered a flat rate of £3.50 ($5).

Managing Director of MoreNiche Andrew Slack points out that the affiliate who first secures the attention of the buyer is effectively the most important one.

How Does It Benefit You – Moreniche – New Split Commission Tecnology

Couple of the affilaites including me, had requested moreniche to create a commission structure like this just couple of months ago, We were introducing the customer to newer brands through our larger websites that drive traffic through various generic keywords for example if I promoted proactol…through a website that generated traffic for keywords “natural weight loss”.. the traffic isn’t necessarily looking for proactol and may not be even aware of the brand. He reads through the review and clicks through to proactol website.Mix Track Technology does the rest and its the best tracking system I have seen in the industry too !!

You are the first person to refer the customer to the brand now, then after couple of days of research on various other weight loss brands the customer decides to buy proactol. So he might search for proactol directly and end up buying proactol from a completely new affiliate website who targets just the brand through PPC or SEO. Then the first affilaite who introduces the brand to the customer, who actually initiated the buying process doesn’t get the credit. More now addresses this for the very first time in affiliate marketing industry.

Watch Mike From Moreniche explain this technology clearly

Just want to say thanks for listening to affilaite! Moreniche Rocks !!

Search engine visibility crucial to business

Search engine optimisation is essential for businesses who want to keep their profile high, an expert has claimed.

Companies have been advised to pay close attention to their search engine marketing strategies, or risk losing business to rivals.

Website optimisation expert Rebecca Lieb points out that there is an almost unfathomable amount of information available online, noting that the most successful businesses ensure they stand out from the crowd.

Ms Lieb said online search is quickly becoming the "only viable way" to navigate through the vast array of online content.

"If you are selling goods and services or you want people to find you, and they can't find you, well they will find your competitor. So, it's not really a choice anymore if you want to play this game," she said.

The expert also warned companies that they could fall behind if they opt for an entirely graphic webpage rather than HTML content which automatically responds to online searches.

Ms Lieb pointed out that a even powerful search engine such as Google will give up on a website it is unable read, resulting in a loss of ranking for the business.
